What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking to fill the position of Talent Management Lead / HR Business Partner in the Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA, or another Barge location. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.

Talent Management responsibilities:
  • Leads our Talent Management processes including performance management, employee development and succession planning
  • Leads employee survey process including vendor management, employee communications, survey results analysis, survey action planning and change management
  • Develops and supports strategy for learning and development programs to ensure development needs are met for all roles of the organization, including; leadership, sales, project management and technical roles
  • Develops and facilitates training sessions and online modules needed for management development, onboarding, or other employee learning needs
  • Assesses needs for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company
  • Identifies/incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans
  • Makes assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance
  • Administers the Performance and Succession modules of the HR Management software
  • Utilizes data analytics to provide answers and recommendations on people related business questions and metrics
  • HR Business Partner responsibilities:
  • Manage the business relationship with Business Units or Functions
  • Supports business strategy by providing HR solutions that ensure high performance
  • Serves as an advisor to the business unit or functional leader helping ensure organization alignment to achieve business or functional goals
  • Leads the recruitment and selection process for designated positions
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Implements all HR processes within the business unit or function (hiring, performance management, succession planning, open enrollment, annual pay increases, bonuses...)

Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, an equivalent combination of education an work experience may be considered
  • Professional HR Certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
  • 5 years of experience required, 7+ preferred
  • Must have experience with developing and/or deploying talent management programs
  • Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
