Your Adventure:

As a Barge intern, you'll be part of groundbreaking projects in various categories, including:
  • Parks and Recreation: Unleash your creativity in conventional parks, sports fields, playgrounds, trails, and urban green spaces.
  • Streetscape: Contribute to the design of intermodal transportation, urban and suburban areas, state highways, and local roads.
  • Institutional: Gain insights into landscape architecture for hospitals and campuses.
  • Environmental: Immerse yourself in ecologically focused projects and land repurposing.

Your Learning Journey:

Embark on a learning adventure where you will:
  • Collaborate Creatively: Work within a dynamic team setting to bring your ideas to life.
  • Sketch and Design: Prepare both conceptual and detailed drawings that leave a lasting impact.
  • Graphic Wizardry: Dive into the world of graphic plans and images to communicate your vision.
  • Project Support: Assist Landscape Architects in delivering outstanding project outcomes.
  • Innovate Together: Collaborate with team members, contributing to new ideas and innovations.
  • Tech Mastery: Learn and utilize essential tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lumion, and LandFX.


Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Educational Pursuit: Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Academic Achievement: Maintain a current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years old.

Extra Details:
  • Rewarding Experience: Enjoy a paid internship with full-time hours (40 per week).
  • On-Site Adventure: Immerse yourself in a primarily in-person work opportunity, with limited remote work options.
