What We're Looking For:
This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for leading key financial processes and providing leadership to members of the accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Leads key financial processes that serve the business
- Leads general ledger review, assessment, and reconciliation of accounts
- Serves as financial liaison for company projects including systems and software integration
- Supports due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions
- Prepares monthly project invoicing for complex situations and key clients
- Supports Joint Venture accounting administration and management
- Interacts with and supports client project administration, revenue recognition, and reviews.
- Audits key employee benefits activity including company stock and incentive programs
- Manages the hiring and development of staff including coaching and mentorship
- Facilitates a collaborative work environment and advances initiatives that support a positive workplace culture
- Perform other duties as required
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited program
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), preferred
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, preferred
- 10-15 years minimum experience in accounting or finance
- Strong Microsoft Excel/Office Suite skills
- BST and Power BI experience, a plus
- Able to extract, compile and provide interpretive data analytics
- Leverage and adopt new technologies that support the business strategy
- Assess and lead changes to internal procedures as business adapts to changing environments
- Work independently pursuing project completion
