Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Mission Critical/Data Center Division Lead to work in one of the sixteen office locations or will consider remote work. This role is responsible for strategic growth, business development, client service, and project management for the Mission Critical/Data Center Division, including contracts secured, proposals, project variances, days sales outstanding, and project profitability.

What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Mission Critical/Data Center Division Lead to work in one of the sixteen office locations or will consider remote work. This role is responsible for strategic growth, business development, client service, and project management for the Mission Critical/Data Center Division, including contracts secured, proposals, project variances, days sales outstanding, and project profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Determines and implements Data Center Division purpose and vision in alignment with Private Development Client Center
- Contributes to the development and research of building on company strengths, identifying new markets and business opportunities, increasing market share, and obtaining a competitive position in the industry
- Plays an active role in developing and executing strategic and business planning activities in collaboration with the technical disciplines
- Evaluates existing sales portfolio and establishes key performance indicators to increase sales
- Continues to strengthen relationships with existing clients, officials, direct reports, and others, and develops new client relationships
- Develops a strategy to secure long-term relationships with clients
- Delivers plans that achieve growth and financial profitability by building a diversified slate of client contracts
- Oversees, mentors, and leads Client Service Leaders and Division Director of Projects
- Provides input to proposals and Project Management Plans to provide accurate estimates for projects or programs
- Develops standards and guidelines while ensuring compliance and supporting performance measures
- Management of division employees also includes hiring, development, and coaching for improvement while facilitating a collaborative work environment and advancing initiatives that support a positive workplace culture
- Performs other duties as requested
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience working with Data Center clients
- Track record of driving business development and strategic growth
- Proven leader of unified teams with strong sense of culture and ownership
- Applicable registration as required by discipline
