We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Leader to join our management consulting firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and driving business growth through strategic planning, client acquisition, and relationship management. They will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, developing client proposals, and expanding our market presence. This person should have previous experience successfully developing new business within the management consulting industry.   • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including Fortune 1,000 companies, government agencies, and other organizations.
  • Lead the development of client proposals, presentations, and pitches, tailored to meet client needs and objectives.
    Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solutions and service offerings that address client challenges and market trends.
  • Ability to understand and sell the full range of services currently provided by the firm.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance.

Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles, preferably within the management consulting or professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and client needs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results oriented.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
