What We're Looking For:
Barge is looking for an Microsoft Technologies Administrator. This person will be responsible for designing, integrating, deploying, and configuring endpoints with modern technology within an enterprise environment supported by a cloud-first strategy. This person will be a hands-on strategic subject matter expert helping to architect modern endpoint solutions to support growth and enhance the end-user experience during the overall asset life-cycle management process.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Ability to lead discussions and solutions around endpoint management, virtual desktops, endpoint security and policy management
  • Present clear, organized, and concise information to all audiences to enable effective business decisions
  • Provide assessments, strategy and roadmaps continuing to alter or improve the current endpoint management / endpoint security / virtual desktop systems
  • Ability to contribute to operational, tactical, and strategic planning in support of the overall business plan
  • Using modern monitoring toolsets to develop, test, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance procedures
  • Provide technical support and design for the distribution, publishing, download, installation, and removal of software applications
  • Troubleshoot and analyze Windows Server software and hardware issues related to the operation of the endpoint infrastructure
  • Provide tiered support and documentation to ServiceDesk issues related to the endpoint infrastructure
  • Highly proficient in PowerShell scripting language and spreadsheet software skills
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to determine root cause; develop, and implement timely solutions
  • Thorough understanding and exposure to Azure best-practices and architecture related to endpoint management
  • Knowledge of application delivery methodologies
  • Ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement
  • Ability to identify key point indicators suitable for management reporting
  • Ability to design, apply and evaluate new information technologies for business environments to improve work productivity and accuracy
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management and best practice framework; ITIL, NIST

Education & Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Information Technology
  • 7+ years' hands-on experience required architecting and supporting enterprise-level endpoint management solutions in a hybrid network environment
  • Broad understanding of overall enterprise infrastructure endpoint technologies and their use, such as: Windows Server,
  • Active Directory, DNS, Endpoint Management, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure/Desktop-as-a-Service, SCCM, SQL, Mobile
  • Device/Application Management, Windows 10, Azure, 0365, Defender, BitLocker
  • Extensive knowledge of endpoint security: firewall design, configuration, and implementation utilizing Defender; patch management; next-gen anti-virus/malware and advanced threat protection applications
  • Experience with modern workplace technologies such as endpoint imaging, package collection/distribution via Intune and SCCM, leveraging group policy, device compliance, conditional access policies, desktop analytics, Autopilot, and troubleshooting mobile device/application management issues
  • Backend administration and troubleshooting knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem as it relates to endpoint management
  • Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting core user systems including hardware, operating system, networking and identified line of business applications
