What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions is currently seeking to fill the position of Construction Inspector Engineering Associate in our Nashville, TN office.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and designs for project
- Works closely with Engineers and construction inspectors to perform a wide range of tasks including the development and design of documents to inspecting projects, as well as other related tasks.
- Assists in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, and tests, in order to plan and design projects
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Accompany Engineers to site visits as needed.
- Performs other duties as requested.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
- May 2024 grads welcome to apply!
- EIT Certification
- Knowledge of Auto Cad, Micro station, and other essential equipment for field and office work.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal/communication and teamworking skills
